US groups launch test suit against feds to ban GM crops from wildlife areas

 

In the U.S., Audubon Society, Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER) and the Center for Food Safety sued the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to destroy GM crops in Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Delaware. It said up to 80 other national wildlife refuges are vulnerable to similar suits.
