Philip Morris linked to labour abuse in Kazakhstan

 

In Kazakhstan, Human Rights Watch claimed widespread exploitation of migrant labour by tobacco growers who supply to Philip Morris. HRW said workers are being cheated and exploited, and some even trapped into forced labor. HRW said Philip Morris Kazakhstan and Philip Morris International have agreed to act on its concerns.
